Launched in Paris in 2015 during COP21, Hype is an independent pure player dedicated to zero-emission taxi solutions. For the past 9 years, Hype has invested 100% of its capacity and resources to immediately combat pollution and climate change, enabling both customers and drivers to move around without polluting and at no additional cost.
Hype offers the only zero-emission taxi booking app (100% electric vehicles) covering the full range of services (Classic, Van, PRM, Premium), with no price difference compared to combustion engine vehicles (diesel, petrol, and especially hybrids, which are still polluting and often misleadingly labeled as “green”).
To ensure a lasting legacy from the Olympic and Paralympic Games, Hype launched the #iSWITCH movement with the Paris 2024 Organizing Committee and several public and private stakeholders. The initiative aims to accelerate the transition of essential professional mobility — particularly on-demand transport, which is currently the leading polluter among passenger transport services (the vast majority of taxis and ride-hailing vehicles in operation — over 60,000 in the Île-de-France region alone — are still polluting).
